If you have already imported metadata via a manual entry, via Spreadsheets or thanks to the Spotify Importer you can now upload and match your audio files to your freshly imported tracks.
You have two methods of accomplishing this:
- Uploading audio files one by one
- Bulk uploading multiple files at once
In this article we are going to describe how you can upload audio files in bulk.
Here is how it works:
Very simple. All you need to do is drag a whole selection of audio files on the "Upload audio files in bulk" section of an album's Files' tab.
There is one rule to follow through when uploading in bulk: the audio files must contain the proper numbering in front of the file name.
Anything can be written after those numbers, or you can decide to not add any extra text, but you need those numbers to be in the first positions of the file name.
- 01 Black Sheep.wav = GOOD
- 06.wav = GOOD
- 3.wav = GOOD
- Black Sheep.wav = NOT GOOD
- Black Sheep 3.wav NOT GOOD
